The Real Source of Radicalization

I just watched the FBI press conference from Orlando and it is painfully obvious that no one in power is willing to point the finger of blame where it really belongs....right here within our own borders.  Yes...radical Islamist, ISIL and Taliban and other extremist groups from the Middle East are a huge threat...always will be, and we need to be aware and vigilant and even militant to protect ourselves from their terrorist actions.  But please stop overlooking the obvious source of radicalization that lives thrives and breeds right here in our federal and state governments and in the supposedly benevolent churches of America.

The hate that is proliferated from the dais, the lectern, the pulpit or even the throne are just as much a motivating factor for someone who is mentally unbalanced and easily influenced as any foreign influence.  If you author and sign laws that permit discrimination and dehumanization of the LGBT community,( any community that is not white and Christians or that you fear out of ignorance)  if you stand before a congregation on Sunday and teach that all LGBT people should be killed "in the name of Jesus"...then you are advocating and aligning yourself with domestic terrorism and are the homeland source of radicalization of the fractured minds that carry out these heinous acts of murder.  WAKE UP AMERICA!  See the situation for what it is...not what they want to whitewash it to be.  Put the blame where it needs to be internally.  Stop the radicalization of politics and religion or we are no better than the evil we are spending billions of dollars to eliminate.

If you need proof...just open your eyes...it is there before you in black and white everyday.  We get too passive and willing to accept it as "just the way it is".  NO NO NO!  It is what we are allowing to happen.... it DOES NOT have to be this way.  We need to stop these hate filled, bigoted purveyors of hate in their tracks and let them know we will no longer allow them to pander separatism, aversion and hate from their positions of respect or power.

  1. I just watched an interview on CNN, and they were discussing the need for Islamic leaders in America to examine their teaching for hate messages. My first thought was that we should recommend the same to Christian leaders as well. I could go on and on about this subject, not only on how it impacts our entire society, but also how these hate messages become motivators for those with mental issues, who are listening.
